W is for water

Count water not shot glasses!

Drink up you skin betches so you may have clearest skin of all. The kind of skin where you are still glowing even in the A.M. Think about it this way, you just hooked up with “Mr. Right,” and you wake up sans makeup and your skin is still bomb ass from the night before. Can you imagine that this is your skin reality? So drink up! 

Since I’m being a nagging Natalie, let me dive right into the benefits drinking water has on your skin:

  • Helps flush out toxins: If you don’t drink enough water, the toxins aren’t being flushed out, thus accumulating and being trapped under your skin.
  • Improve color and texture: Helps by building new cells properly.
  • Regulates body temperature through sweating.
  • Helps provide proper circulation of nutrients in the body.
  • Keeps skin looking radiant and healthy. 

So the next time you question the importance of drinking water, remember this:

“Funny how drinking 8 cups of water a day seems like it’s impossible, but 8 beers and 6 shots in 3 hours go down like a fat kid on a see-saw!” 

It always makes me laugh when we can drink all night long, shot after shot, glass after glass, yet, look confused when we are told to drink more water. 

So the next time you are asked to cheers, why not cheers with water? Ok...maybe that'll make you look like an idiot, but you get the idea.
